Unimaginable!

That the rich upwelling biomass producing areas of the oceans will ever be empty... of the life we need to survive. Empty, no I don't think it ever will be. There will still be food so there will still be organisms that make use of the food to grow and flourish. But it won't be the creatures we have seen all these generations that grow in that rich broth, this is becoming a hostile world for them. Instead, other animals better equipped to survive these conditions, will take over and evolve.

It's evolution on a grand scale. I played the computer game once. What a shame that the human life is too short to see the changes fluctuate over time, perhaps that would change the mindset of most short-term thinkers.

Interesting times.
